To promote positivity in my life, I have dropped cable TV. Besides the outrageous expense, a majority of the shows are emotional downers. We are paying big bucks to get negatively entertained. With the exception of educational channels, documentaries and comedies the majority of digital television is trash. Do yourself a favor and switch over to Netflix and/or Amazon Plus. View shows that give quality content to benefit your life.
Life is just out there waiting for you to enjoy it. Do something different like going to a museum, get tickets to a concert, take in a play, or surprise your significant other with a romantic picnic. The options for fun are infinite. Put your common interests on sheets of paper and pick one or two at random. Then take off one night for a comedy club, get together under the stars or a wild/crazy club for drinks and dancing.
