Sinus Congestion Medication-OTC-Practical Information

images

Stick with single ingredients in products. Not only can you tell what component is really helping your problem but it usually is more cost-effective.

a. phenylephrine (or Sudafed PE)

b. psuedoephedrine (or Sudafed)- behind pharmacy counter-need in-date ID for purchase

Note: Studies show that both ingredients work better than placebo at helping to get rid of sinus congestion. Since psuedoephedrine can be used to make amphetamines, government tracks its movement out of the pharmacy which is why you need to show ID.
